At our staff meeting this Tuesday: Amanda, Jen, Paula and I will provide an overview of the updates on the Everyday Math Curriculum we received from Barb the consultant. Classroom teachers, please bring a device, your EDM Online log in information and any math materials you may want to plan with because there may be time at the end of the staff meeting to do some of this. Below is the presentation we'll be using, in case you want to preview it.
Also a reminder that on Thursday, Amanda will be holding a Documentation Log support session in the media center at 8:05am. For those of you who attend, this session will take the place of your Day 6 Collaboration. Again as Amanda stated in an earlier email, the intention of this time is to discuss what things you could use for artifacts and what to add to the reflection. I will also also attend in case you have questions for me. Amanda is developing a support document to assist you with your artifacts and reflections. She'll be sharing out this document on Thursday.
Finally a reminder that the Forward Exam begins tomorrow for fourth grade students. They will be testing every day this week, for the majority of the day. Testing will occur in Mrs. Feyereisen's classroom, computer lab 118 and our SLD/EBD classrooms. Please assist in keeping the hallways quiet around these classrooms to provide the best learning environments we can for testing.
