Staff Appreciation Week

Staff,

I wanted to remind you on Thursday, you'll have two staff appreciation activities acknowledging your work. The North Hudson PTO is providing staff with breakfast during your late start time at North Hudson in the media center and staff lounge. Immediately after school, elementary principals will be hosting their appreciation gathering at the Willow River Carbonies and appetizers will be provided.

Prior to or after your breakfast on Thursday, this time is set aside for you to begin work on your end of your SLO reflection and your PPG. Again the document you'll access in my learning plan is your professional goal setting view, and the three guiding prompts are as follows: End-of-Year Status of Goal, Evidence of Goal Completion and Lessons Learned. For those of you who don't have data yet, you can complete the first reflection box on the practices you've put in place and the impact they've had on your students and also your PPG (the last item). Here is a link to the video tutorial (also found within the EE tab of this blog) that can assist you in completing your end of year SLO review. End of Year SLO Tutorial

I have set aside your Day 6 on Wednesday to give you time to start filling our your pink and blue cards for class placement. 5th grade you can use this for middle school transition documents.

Your May 20th Day 6 is for importing your F+P data into Skyward and to continue to work on your SLO. Tuesday, May 24 I will start meeting with teams or individual teachers regarding their SLOs. Teachers on cycle, I will review both your summatives and end of year SLOS in the same meetings. Summative meetings will occur from May 25-27, May 31st-June 3 and June 6. Teachers not on cycle may choose to complete their self reflection of the SLO electronically with me.

Finally I have added one more tab to my blog. It is the information from Human Resources regarding Certified Staff Salary Components. You've received this information before, but I thought it would be helpful to be able to access it from my blog.
